The chain is running a “Two for $29.99” special.
You and your companion will each choose a quality salad, a delicious entree, and you’ll get to choose either an appetizer or dessert for your table.
On a recent visit to a LongHorn my wife and I chose an appetizer, the Texas Tonion; a delicious house salad; we each had a steak with baked potato. You’ll also get free honey baked bread which came too our table piping hot.
The Texas Tonion was the treat of the day….a knockoff off the famous “Blooming Onion” this one is precut into small pieces with a wonderful thousand Island tasting dipping sauce.
My steak was wonderful but my wife’s was overcooked and tasteless. Mine was the Garlic-Herb crusted Sirloin which comes with a creamy cheese sauce. It was very good.
My co-diner chose the Bacon-wrapped Sirloin which was uninspired and tasteless. Both of our salads were chilled and tasty although the dressings can never be accused of being “homemade.”
Here are the options you’ll choose from as part of the deal:

Bill Cosby once said oh so accurately;
Did you ever see customers in a health-food store? They are pale, skinny people who look half-dead. In a steakhouse you see robust, ruddy people….they’re dying of course but they look terrific!”
Here’s to looking great in a tasty steakhouse!
