Phoenix, there are still votes this November that matter, and if the ‘party of the people’ really matters to you, get behind the national race Tea Party candidates.
First, the Tea Party is not Democrat or Republican. It is the Constitutionalist party of the people. The Tea Party has been growing more rapidly as the time is approaching for the November elections of 2010. The goal of the tea party is restoration of the Constitution, smaller government and greater liberties for the people. There are many other facets to it, as well.
This was the opportunity for things to change for the Republican party, as they have been out in the cold with the voters for a while now. ‘Carpe diem’ should have been the GOP and RNC motto, but instead they are losing their shirts to the candidates that promise to stand on the principles of the US Constitution. It is a self-fulfilling prophecy though, because there has become ‘a go along to get along’ mentality, as no one believes a group will stand for something, that continually falls for anything and everything. The people see through this. Republicans will not get more votes by playing that game, as the strategy looses as many votes as it may gain.
For years, the Republican party has become more middle of the road, and too willing to conform to the other side’s way of thinking. Now, we have a situation that is obvious to most. The Republican party no longer cares about the people they way in which they once did. There was a time that the Republican party stood for true conservative values, for the Constitution and for the people. Of course, the old adage that all good things must come to an end, plays here….but sadly, the Republican party and all it stood for went with it. RINOS and Progressives have slowly entered the positions of the House and Senate, and compromise became more important than standing firmly on reason.
ALERT for all Republicans who value their positions: The people are tired of the fact that you never pick up your gauntlets, that you have decided to make your own personal campaigns and success more important than the will of the people, and until you stop drinking the progressive, RINO kool-aid, we are prepared to give each of you walking papers. The private sector is not doing well, but surely, the connections each of you has will bode well for you. The political arena has become perverted because of power, greed, and money above all else. The job of a Senator and or a Representative is to represent the people of their state, not to plan on job security, but to uphold the people in every aspect of the days, weeks, months and years of ‘service.’ Those who do not, will no longer be able to be certain that the voters will indeed be kind to them at the actual voting polls.
Phoenix, don’t forget, make your plans now, for voting day. It is essential that every patriotic, warm blooded American be at the polls. Be the wheels for someone you know, who might not go, otherwise. Until next week.
