This is one of the easiest fudge recipes you may ever make. It combines two of the worlds best flavors (in my opinion) peanut butter and chocolate.
Kathy’s Ribbon Fudge
- 3 cups sugar
- 3/4 cup margarine
- 2/3 cup evaporated milk
- 6 ounces chocolate chips
- 7 ounce jar marshmallow creme
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup peanut butter, creamy
Combine 1 1/2 cup sugar, 6 tbsp margarine and 1/3 cup milk in a heavy saucepan.
Bring to a full rolling boil, stirring constantly.
Continue boiling for 4 minutes over medium heat, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat.
Stir in chocolate chips until melted.
Add 1 cup marshmallow creme and 1/2 tsp vanilla.
Beat until well blended.
Pour into greased (or no-stick foil lined) 13×9 pan.
Repeat with remaining ingredients, substituting peanut butter for chocolate chips.
Spread over chocolate layer.
Cool at room temperature.
