More Monday docket highlights: Judge Morris conducts one trial, 10 sentencings

Judge Melinda Morris conducts a criminal jury trial on Monday, Sept. 20 starting at 8:30 a.m., the Washtenaw County Trial Court reports.

Ernesto Carlos Martelo faces one count of first-degree home invasion, a felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison. Ann Arbor attorney John Shea is counsel of record for the defendant.

Judge Morris also conducts 10 sentencings Monday afternoon beginning at 1:30 p.m.

In a matter previously scheduled for Sept. 13, Ronald James Plunkett faces sentencing for delivery or manufacture of less than 50 grams of certain controlled substances, a 20-year felony, and maintaining a drug house. Ann Arbor attorney John Shea is counsel of record for the defendant.

In a matter rescheduled from July 19 and August 9, Alfred Lee Johnson faces sentencing for one count of possession of less than 25 grams of a controlled substance, a four-year felony. Washtenaw County Public Defender Lloyd Powell is counsel of record for the defendant.

Tony Randolph Turner faces sentencing for one count of operating a vehicle while intoxicated causing serious injury, a five-year felony. Washtenaw County Public Defender Lloyd Powell is counsel of record for the defendant.

In a matter previously scheduled for Sept. 13, Kellie Jo Grubaugh faces sentencing for two counts of assaulting, resisting or obstructing a police officer, a two-year felony. Washtenaw County Public Defender Lloyd Powell is counsel of record for the defendant.

Michael Latroy Steward faces sentencing for two counts of delivery or manufacture of less than 50 grams of certain controlled substances, a 20-year felony. Washtenaw County Public Defender Lloyd Powell is counsel of record for the defendant.

Nicholas Martin Orozco faces sentencing for two counts of first-degree home invasion, a 20-year felony. Ann Arbor attorney Douglas Mullkoff is counsel of record for the defendant.

Todd Richard Patton faces sentencing for larceny in a building, a four-year felony. Washtenaw County Public Defender Lloyd Powell is counsel of record for the defendant.

Timothy William O’Donnell faces sentencing for assault with intent to commit unarmed robbery, a 15-year felony. Washtenaw County Public Defender Lloyd Powell is counsel of record for the defendant.

Alfred Lee Johnson, Jr. faces sentencing for possession of less than 25 grams of certain controlled substances, four-year felony. Ann Arbor attorney David Goldstein is counsel of record for the defendant.

Mannie Lamar Terry faces sentencing in two matters rescheduled from Sept. 13. In the first matter, Terry faces sentencing for delivery or manufacture of less than 50 grams of certain controlled substances, a 20-year felony, possession of less than 25 grams of certain controlled substances and possession of marijuana. In the other matter, Terry faces sentencing for assault with a dangerous weapon, carrying concealed weapons, carrying a weapon with unlawful intent, possession of firearms by a convicted felon, firearms larceny and reckless use of firearms. Washtenaw County Public Defender Lloyd Powell is counsel of record for the defendant.
