Don’t let his playboy swagger deceive! Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino may act like he’s a ladies man but in real life he says he’s all about business – Even when rehearsing his suave moves for “Dancing with the Stars”.
I’M NOT JUST A DANCER, I’M A $5 MILLION DOLLAR MAN
According to an exclusive chat with RadarOnline, Mike and his hot-to-trot pro dance partner Karina Smirnoff have to take rehearsal breaks when the stress becomes unmanageable.
“I can tell he’s stressed when he reaches for his iPad,” says Karina, 32, of how she knows she needs to let up the hounding. “He picks up his iPad and when he’s ready to get back to business, he puts it down and we get back to work”.
When asked what he checks up on via his technology piece, “The Situation” says he’s keeping up with his “life outside of ‘Dancing with the Stars’. In addition to sweating it out for the Mirrorball Trophy, Mike says keeping his eye on his worklife keeps him focused on what’s most important.
When Radar’s correspondent asks if that’s in regard to “broads and booze”, Mike blasted back and said he’s worklife now isn’t about what fans see on “Jersey Shore”. Since airing the show’s first season, Mike’s set to earn $5 million this year including the “Shore”, his fitness line, supplement endorsement, a jewelry line, an upcoming book and event appearances.
OOPS! HE HAS AN “ITTY-BITTY” SITUATION
“Broads and booze don’t mix with business,” Mike says of building his million-dollar empire. Adding, “I have my own business. So, I have a lot going on.”
In addition to running his business and keeping up with steps on “Dancing”, Mike’s reportedly been hooking up with girls left and right in between work in the studio. According to a recent write-up, a lady that hooked up with Mike at an after-party wasn’t slow in revealing intimate details about the reality TV star’s hidden assets.
“I wouldn’t even call it a one-night stand, because he only lasted a few minutes,” Florida club promoter Melody Eckerson said in an interview with Star magazine. Adding, “Let’s just say, I’m thinking of my pinky.”
IT’S NOT OFFICIALLY “HIS” SITUATION
Mike’s ripped mid-section may be widely known as “The Situation”, but it’s not anymore his “situation” as it is the next guys. While Sorentino tried to trademark his abs, he wasn’t legally able to get the trademark transaction approved.
“The presence of the article ‘The’ is a key component of the mark,” says Mike’s attorney. “As it refers specifically to Mr. Sorrentino, and is reflective of how the term is used when applied to Mr. Sorrentino.”
Sorrentino’s trademark application was tossed back at the TV star and told it was a no-go. Even still, Mike continues to nickname his body parts and refer to his core as the ultimate “Situation”.
