This guide contains the various cheats and secrets found in the Xbox 360 exclusive game, Halo Reach. The first page of this article features the Achievements, Avatar Awards, a secret racing mini-game in ONI: Sword Base and a cheat from Club Errera found in the game.
In Halo Reach, you can earn five different helmets for your Xbox Live Avatars. Check out the specific requirements for unlocking each of them below:
Carter’s Helmet – In Campaign mode, you must finish an entire level without dying while playing under the Legendary difficulty setting.
Emile’s Helmet – In either the Multiplayer or Firefight Matchmaking modes, you must earn a Bulltrue Medal. This is done by killing an enemy equipped with an Energy Sword when he is lunging at you.
Jorge’s Helmet – In the Multiplayer Matchmaking mode, you must earn a “Killtacular,” which means you have to kill five opponents in a row with no longer than 4 seconds passing by in between each kill.
Jun’s Helmet – In either the Campaign of Firefight modes, you must kill 100 enemies consecutively without dying.
Kat’s Helmet – In the Multiplayer Matchmaking mode, you must avenge the death of one of your teammates.
Halo Reach launched with a total of 49 Achievements that total to 1000 GamerScore points. These are spread across the Campaign, Firefight, Multiplayer modes and everything else in between.

In order to unlock the secret racing mini-game in Halo Reach, you will need two players. The start of the ONI: Sword Base level contains two invisible switches. You can use this video to locate them.
The two switches need to be activated simultaneously. Once you do, you will get a new objective called Reach Racer. In this secret mode, you can race against each other by going from one waypoint to another.
Thanks to Achievement Hunter for discovering this secret.
After you clear out the hospital in the New Alexandria level of Halo Reach, you will then be directed to head to Club Errera. Instead of heading straight there, go back to the hospital and go below the entrance to discover a neat little cheat. You will find a green switch on a ledge with some trees. Land, activate the switch and then fly to Club Errera.
If done correctly, you will see the Covenant enemies raving to the tune of “Never Surrender” when you enter the club. You can find another switch on the roof of Club Errera to switch the music to “Siege of Madrigal.”
Credit goes to Halo Reach Planet for finding this cheat.
