Gallagher’s Steakhouse inside the New York New York Las Vegas Hotel and Casino is nothing new. In fact, it is quite old. The original Gallagher’s located in the real New York, New York has been around since 1927 and operated as a speakeasy during the prohibition years. Needless to say, Gallagher’s knows steak with its signature meat aging room where it lets their USDA Prime aged dry beef work up its tenderness for up to 21 days.
Gallagher’s Steakhouse exclusively serves USDA Prime beef, which annually accounts for less than two percent of US beef, and hand picks their cuts out of that small percentage of those finely marbled cuts. This allows Gallagher’s to offer only the most tender, juicy and flavorful meat on the market, no matter if it is a Filet Mignon, Cowboy Rib-eye or $48 porterhouse. You won’t find any Japanese Kobe steaks here; these cows were born and raised all American.
Gallagher’s offers up their steaks on their lunch, dinner and prix fixe menus. The prix fixe menu is a great alternative for large groups or tourists looking for a quick, wonderful lunch without spending too much of their gambling money. You can find another great prix fixe menu at StripSteak too.
For those who feel the need to go all out a la Vegas style, their market price Surf and Turf center cut filet mignon and lobster tail is absolutely one of, if not the best Surf and Turf combos in Vegas. Add in the steamed asparagus with hollandaise or Yukon Gold potato puree and you have yourself a well balanced, yet absolutely appetizing meal awaiting you that you will never forget.
For the pesce-vegetarians and seafood lovers, Gallagher’s offers their fresh catch of the day, Irish organic salmon, Alaskan split king crab legs, fresh Maine lobster and plenty of appetizers, soups and salads to get your fill. If Gallagher’s does steak as well as they do, their seafood is definitely worth trying.
