Colorado’s most award-winning restaurant makes the holidays decadent, yet convenient
BOULDER, Colo. (October 19, 2010) — For the fourth consecutive year, Four-Star, Four-DiamondFlagstaff House restaurant is the only restaurant of its caliber to offer an extraordinary, chef-prepared Thanksgiving Feast shipped directly to homes across the U.S.: Colorado-grown, organic butternut squash soup; succulent, organic, free-range turkey; port wine sauce; creamy gratin of thinly-sliced sweet and Yukon gold potatoes with nutmeg, tarragon and cream; Monette family brioche bread dressing; “tasty tomato jelly;” dinner rolls; and a French almond cake with rum pumpkin anglais.
The Thanksgiving Feast is the brainchild of Executive Chef and Partner Mark Monette, whose culinary creations have been featured on Food Network,The New York Times andUSA Today. His restaurant,Flagstaff House in Boulder, Colo., is the recipient of the prestigious Mobil Four-Star Award, the AAA Four Diamond Award, and the DiRoNA Award; it is one of only two restaurants in Colorado to win a Wine Spectator Grand Award this year (and has done so every year since 1983,) and is also the only restaurant in Colorado to be named one of Open Table’s “50 Best Restaurants” in 2010.
“Our online Thanksgiving Feast features a turkey with seven chef-prepared accompanying dishes, sauces and trimmings shipped overnight from our kitchen to yours,” said Chef Monette. “The fresh turkey is prepped and ready to cook. Everything else is heat, serve and enjoy.” Flagstaff House’s signature after-dinner coffee and tea service is also available online to complete the sumptuous dinner.
To ensure adequate quantities are available for delivery in advance of the Thanksgiving holiday, orders must be placed no later than November 19, although the Feast is only available while supplies last. “These Thanksgiving Feasts sell out quickly each year, so don’t delay!” said Chef Monette.
Each Thanksgiving Feast order will serve up to six people. The cost for the complete meal is $178 plus overnight shipping and handling charges. All orders will be shipped fresh on Monday, November 22, to arrive on Tuesday, November 23, in advance of Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 25.
