Bon Appetit! Dinner with Julia at the Long Island Museum is an evening inspired by world reknowned chef Julia Child. A famous American kitchen, in and of itself, Smithsonian Curator, Rayna Green will share how the Smithsonian Institute was able to acquire Julia Child’s kitchen as permanent exhibit.
Chef Guy Reuge of Mirabelle Private Events will create recipes from Julia’s famous kitchen. Chef, author and Food Network personality, Sara Moulton will make a special guest appearance. Sara Moulton was one of the ground breakers at the Food Network and executive chef at Gourmet Magazine. Sara is known for hearty yet elegant meals.
Dinner with Julia is a museum fundraiser and will be held on Saturday, September 25th , 2010 at 7pm. Tickets are $95.00. Dinner attire, jackets preferred.
