Ripley is a handsome 1-year-old altered male. He is friendly, tolerant, and attentive so can be adopted by a first time pet owner and live with a family that has children. He loves being petted and will even lick your hand to say thank you for a nice scratch. He can possibly live with other household cats — maybe dogs, too. Ask for Ripley, plus reference his ID number: A479184.
Raider is a black and white, 10-year-old altered male cat. He is confident, tolerant, and friendly. His previous owner moved and now he is looking for new home. He is unsure about being around other cats or small animals but can probably get along with dogs. First time pet owners are ok. Ask for Raider plus reference his ID#A477111.

Handsome Sir Galahad 5-year old neutered male came to MHS as a stray and is now looking for a home where he can grace his new family with his considerable charms. Regal and suave, he is the strong, silent type and has behaved like a gentleman with everyone he has met. Calm and easy going, he will probably adapt to most any new circumstances that come his way. MHS doesn’t know his history with other cats, but he seems like a pretty “take it as it comes” type of guy, so it might be something to consider. He LOVES to be groomed and will purr with delight. He also fancies feather wand toys and will bring a smile to your face when his “inner lion” comes out. Best in most any home with adjustment.
Holly aka: Purrmonster is a 2 year old spayed Female gal who knows what she wants. Holly recently joined MHS from another Bay Area rescue and now she’s looking for the purrfect home. Holly is outgoing and social and will enjoy a regular grooming and petting session while perched on your lap. She may also stretch and lounge about, without a great need for human companionship. Holly will rub up against you and solicit your attention, but she will absolutely let you know when she finds certain kinds of handling (such as nail trims and more-invasive vet-checking) not to her liking. For this reason ideally she should live with someone who can read her moods. Holly has an outgoing and social side that will charm you and your friends, but understand that she can also be somewhat independent and “of her own mind” at other times. This pretty feline has strong opinions! Best in a home with adults only.
