On September 11th and 12th, we will see the long awaited arrival of the 19th Annual Festival of Philippine Art & Culture to Southern California. The event will once again be held at Point Fermin Park located at 607 Paseo del Mar, San Pedro, CA 90731. Admission will be $7 for adults and children are free. The event will be open both days from 10:00 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Entertainment will include a Tinikling Dance “Battle”, book signings, martial arts performances/demonstrations, Filipino traditional music and dancing, two stage live entertainment with celebrity guests, live art and painting, giant vegetable competition in the Senior Village, and tons of Filipino/Asian cuisine to chow down on.
There will be storytelling, games, various arts and crafts in the Youth Pavilion for the kiddies to take part in while you get lost in the diversity that is the heart of the Filipino culture.
